UPGRADES AND MODIFICATIONS
The PrintNC is a constantly being updated and upgrade. All upgrades are fully compatible with the standard PrintNC design with minimal modifications required.
This resource will continue to grow and be updated as time permits but initially serve
V2.0 Z Axis – Increased Z T8
This is the current standard Z Axis for the PrintNC. It is fully compatible with the existing hole patterns on the V1 Z Axis by replacing the Z Faceplate. Templates for self manufacture of faceplate and STL may be generated from within the Fusion 360 File.
This is the version that is shipped with all recent store purchases
V2.1 Z Axis – Increased Z Ball Screw (BETA)
This upgrade to the V2.0 Z Axis replaces the T8 Lead Screw with a 250mm 1204 Ball Screw. Hardware required for the upgrade is 1204 Ball Screw, BK10 Bearing Block and a small aluminium rear faceplate.
Upgrade from the V2.0 Z Axis is straight forward with no modifications to the existing faceplate or assembly required

BK/BF12 Limit Switch Blocks
These BK/BF12 Mounts replace the existing blocks with a design the supports a small momentary switch for use in homing and limits. All profile sizes can be generated from within the Fusion files
