Kits inclusions can be modified using the calculator, ball screws and bearing blocks are automatically upsized to 2010 >1500mm length and quantities of fasteners and cable chains are adjusted to match your build size
What’s NOT Included
3d printed parts
The PrintNC Kit does not include steel for your frame, hot or cold rolled RHS steel is used in the assembly of your build, this is locally sourced by you which keeps costs as low as possible
Kits do not include a wasteboard or threaded insert for fixturing. MDF or plywood can be locally sourced, the standard size machine will fit a 3×2 or 1200x900mm board inside the frame dimensions
The kit does not include a controller for your machine beyond the basic parallel breakout board. Common options are LinuxCNC, GRBLHal or GRBL. The PrintNC Wiki has comprehensive instructions on building your controller
The kits do not currently included stepper drivers, due to clone drivers not assuring the high standard of performance we expect from our machines stepper drivers are now recommended to be purchased from StepperOnline, a link is provided on the final page of the calculator
